The next 4EB Broadcast/Induction Training session is coming up on Tuesday Night 5 June, 2018 at 6.15pm. This is for all new members and prospective new broadcasters and it's the first step in becoming involved in 4EB Programs. The German Film festival returns to Brisbane from 31 May - 10 June and for the first time it will be supported by German Films in conjunction with the Goethe-Institute. Germany, one of Europe's most prolific filmmaking nations will present all Australian Premiere's at this year's event which will include a special schools program. The award winning 'Fair Comment' is an independent community radio Current Affairs Interview style program broadcast every Thursday on Global Digital at 1.30pm and again on Monday nights at 10.30pm on 4EB. The program is jointly produced by Radio 4EB and 4ZZZ and provides a fresh focus on topics that are on your mind and featuring 'Fair Comment' from community broadcasters from across Australia.

'The Wire' is an independent current affairs news program produced by a consortium of progressive community broadcasters from Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane. The flagship national program has been part of the community radio sector since 2004 and is produced in Brisbane on Fridays.
THE WIRE is produced with the assistance of University Journalism students from QUT, UQ and Griffith Universities providing real experience on a national news and current affairs program.

If you are thinking of becoming a broadcaster on 4EB or GLOBAL Digital now is a great time to begin training. Radio is fun and it does not matter how old you are (preferably above 17). Become a broadcaster in one of our many youth programs on offer or join a language group of your choice. You will be made very welcome in any group. We even have several multiculuturla programs across the week that broadcast in English. Our panel training classes are run every 8 weeks. All you need to be is a financial member as training is delivered free by a qualified and experienced broadcaster.
